To Winterize or Not to Winterize...

The majority of YourNewBoat territory falls within a gray area when it comes to winterization. When you ask the experts, they are going to recommend that you winterize your boat, and let an expert do it. Here at YourNewBoat we recommend the same. By paying a professional to winterize your boat you will be protected throughout the winter and can rest assured without any worries of "did I get enough antifreeze in the port size engine?"

Some people choose not to winterize their boats, but that doesn't mean that they don't take steps to prepare for the colder temperatures. Thermostats are set and doors to the hull are left open. These people must make frequent trips to check on their boats throughout the winter to make sure their boats still have power, their heat pumps are still working, etc. This method of winterizing is still requiring you to put a lot of trust in some things that you cannot control.

Our advice: If you want to sleep easy on those cold winter nights, pay a professional to winterize your boat.
