Please Help Save Our Summers!

The school calendars have been announced for next year at most school districts now and the parents, teachers, & students around here are not too pleased. The problem is that the schools' start date keeps lingering around the beginning of August. I hear much concern from the Marinas around the lake worried that over half of their work force will be leaving them during one of the hottest and busiest months of the summer.

The tourism industry is not the only one affected by the schools start date. And now there is an organization deticated to making changes!
