The folks at Houseboat Magazine put on another great show this year!
It was great to meet all the new houseboat enthusiasts from all over the country and to see our old friends. It's great to know that even in these tough economic times, Houseboaters continue to recognize the important role that houseboating plays in their lives and continue to support the industry.

As usual we saw some interesting products and ideas.
Here are some of our favorites:

This houseboat's roof bar was curved with a diamond plate back splash and some cool bar stools - not to mention the built in grill.
This Houseboat has given a new meaning to the walk thru flybridge... how about a walk around helm?

You've heard of the Pull-out Sleeper Sofa - have you ever seen a Pull-out Sleeper Entertainment Center? That's a new way to hide a bed! Another great use of space for a houseboat.
The Rolling Barge is a great way around hard to get dock permits - this is a USCG approved vessel that can be used as a dock or a party barge! See their website for more info at www.RollingBarge.com

The Houseboat Expo is a great place to gain some good boating knowledge. Marine Surveyor Bill Burke of Northwood-Marine.com was nice enough to give a seminar on the 7 Deadly Sins of Houseboating that informed us of how to better protect our investments and our families from things like Carbon Monoxide and Fires to the Proper Wiring and Storage of Inverters.

Cornhole is becoming the unofficial sport of houseboaters worldwide and with the help of a couple generous sponsors, BoardzNBagz put on a Cornhole Tournament at this year's Expo and much fun was had by all.
The first place team took home a $1000 cash prize!

It was great to meet everyone who stopped by the YourNewBoat.com booth and we look forward to helping you find Your New Boat!
